Can you tell me every single sport that uses animal-derived equipment?

I know that football does, baseball, basketball, etc. But can you name them all, I need my mom to write me a note to get out of these in PhysEd.

Sweetie, your being silly, You didn't buy the school sporting equipment, so it's not your responsibility. If you have to buy your own stuff, like a baseball glove, then go for the cruelty free stuff.

That's a cute dodge! When I was in school, girls used their menstrual periods to get out of gym, and they seemed to last three weeks out of the month.

Badminton and archery use feathers; tennis rackets are often strung with gut (but you can get nylon ones); there are golf clubs without leather handles.

How about track and field (stay away from the leather-covered horses) or swimming and diving, or field hockey, or water polo (I don't think the ball is leather.)

That's kind of a silly argument. If they were having you hunt, that'd be one thing, but by simply *using* a basketball you're not contributing to animal suffering. Besides, loads of sports manufacturers use vegan alternatives now.

I think you need to investigate all your teachers too and get a note to excuse you from all classes taught by meat eaters.

If your a vegan or vegetarian, you should know that a healthy lifestyle includes excersize. actually you should know that anyways...almost all school equipment is made of synthetic stuff now so that kinda ruins your plan to be lazy anyways...sorry but you need excersize to be healthy too...

Not basketballs since they are not made out of leather anymore.  Volleyball though and soccer use leather.  Rackets are not made with cat gut anymore, and tennis balls are not leather either.
