Can you tell me more about clear retainer's?

I'm getting my braces off tomorrow, and I am getting the clear retainer's, I was just wondering what you could tell me about them? All I know is that they are the ones that are supposedly just like invisalign.

They are fine, i have had mine for three years.  They take a little to get used to, but after that you will barely even notice them.  Just have a safe place to put it for when you are eating.

those are the same ones i got once my braces came off. at first you're really aware of them, but just like the braces, after a bit you don't notice them. i have to say though, they are WAY better than the braces lol. and you can see them a teeny bit, but its pretty minimal since they're clear and all.

First, the orthodontists will make molds of your teeth. They'll make retainers out of clear plastic to fit that mold and probably give them to you later (couple days, a week, etc.). You may have to wear them all day, or only at night. Basically, its a plastic tray that covers your teeth. It takes a little getting used to, you may talk with a lisp for a few days, but they're not at all bad. You take them out to eat and brush your teeth, and they're not all that noticeable. Not something you'd want to wear when getting your picture taken or something, but most people at school won't notice. And they're much better than braces!
