  4. Waisale Tikoisolomoni Serevi (born 20 May 1968 in Qarani on the island of Gau, Fiji) is a Fijian Rugby Player. He has played fifteens rugby all his career, but is noted more for his 7's achievements. Probably has to be one of the best 7's players ever.

    He has 39 test caps and 376 points in 15's and played for Fiji in the 1991, 1999, and 2003 World Cups.

    His 7's career started when he played for Fiji at the Hong Kong 7's in 1989. He also played in the 1993, 1997, 2001, and 2005 Rugby World Cup Sevens, winning the World Cup with Fiji in 1997 and 2005. He won silver at the Commonwealth Games in 1998 and 2002, and bronze in 2006.  In 2005 after winning the 2005 Rugby World Cup Sevens he became the Fiji 7's team coach. He coached and played in the Fijian 2005/2006 IRB 7's victory (which was alos the first time the series was not won by the All Blacks).

    He is still the player coach of the Fiji 7's side and is a legend in Fijian and International Rugby.

    His wife is Karalaini whom he married in 1993, and he has three kids; two daughters Una and Asinate, and a son named Waisale Serevi Junior. His wife works for the Fijian Defence Force. Along with his family he is a committed Christian, and attends Church regularly. On his boots, strapping, and jersey for every match he has the words "Philippians 4:13" written as a reference to the biblical quote "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".

    On 18 May 2007, Serevi was appointed a Special Inspector with the Fiji Police Force by the acting Commissioner of Police Romanu Tikotikoca. The appointment is in youth and community policing, he does not peform ergualr duties, or work regular hours, but is paid for the hours he does work.

    He goes by several nicknames; including Small, Wizard, and Maestro. He has also been inducted into inducted into the Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee's Hall of Fame.

    He is an absolute legend...
