Can you tell me some analogies and some differences between Nationalism and Patriotism ?

Think of it as faith and insanity.  Faith is beleiving there is or is not a God, and insanity is believing the Earth is 7,000(whatever bullshit thousand it is.) years old.  Here, nationalism is the latter.

Patriotism would be a love for one's country, or a feeling of loyalty towards the country you are from / in.

Nationalism could be said to be a sense of pride or belonging in one particular country, or the belief that the country is better than others, or of claiming a particular 'national identity' :-)
