  2. We always tell people to pack light.... if you forget something, you'll be able to get it there.  Here is our basic packing list with the "amenities and necessities" we generally take:  http://www.mousetourstravels.com/basic-p...

If you're flying, don't forget that you need to pack with today's security alerts in mind if you're flying:  http://www.mousetourstravels.com/travel-...  And for tips on how to pack that "one quart zip top clear plastic bag" check this page:  http://www.mousetourstravels.com/carry-o...

  3. contraception pill, plasters, insect repellant, travel plug, ipod, phone and charger for phone, passport, travel money, credit card, hotel booking confirmation, flight confirmation / tickets, guide book, Friends addresses for postcards, to cancel the milk, a wine glass so you can buy your own while there, beach towel, sarong, swimsuit, nail file, scissors (you always need them for something), immodium, piriton, sun cream, after sun, hairbrush, sensible shoes, smart shoes, some local currency in change for toilets and porters to save breaking a note.  I usually forget things like my blusher brush or something small like that.  Just remember that most places are civilised and you can always buy things like shampoo, clothes and sun tan lotion wherever you are going.

  4. travel iron, first aid kit, kitchen sink

  5. Plasters, alka seltzer (essential) and headache pills.

Ear plugs - just in case!! (I'm glad I took these as the hotel last year was noisy!).

    Travel plug.

  6. A cheese grater

  7. Ear plugs

    Dental floss

    Spare book

    Enough money

Have a lovely holiday...you lucky thing.

  8. Wet wipes - always come in handy at airports

Cheese sandwiches - way cheaper and tastier than at airports/on planes and they don't go off quickly

    A long book

Ipod or MP3 player and charger

Mobile + charger. If it's unlocked buy a cheap SIM locally and text friends etc from that. Much cheaper!

Comfortable shoes. You may be stuck in them for a long time.

  9. Your phone charger, electrical adaptor, plasters/band aids, antiseptic wipes, suncream, after sun cream, insect repellent, painkillers, indigestion remedy, travellers cheques/credit cards, cash for the country your are visiting, PASSPORT (and or visa), camera (& film if necessary), handheld fan, batteries, a good reading book or two, travel sickness pills if needed, a pen.

Hope this helps a little.  Have a good holiday!
