A virus blocker will "quarantine" a virus or spyware

so that it can't spread throughout you compete file system

until it can be deleted. (See "isolate")

It happens with a good virus-protection program, when the virus can't be "disinfected"...

It's a good thing...

(My personal recommendation? KILL IT...) If you didn't purposely put "it" there, it's not harmless.  

Of course, some virus/spyware protection -when encountering another "protection" program will often take that other program for "infection"...

Then there is a way to tell the one isolating the other to "ignore' it...

The quarantine breaks down the virus so it  becomes inactive.

On your computer, the virus is isolated until you can determine if it's safe or should be gotten rid of. Once you decide which it is, you then take the steps needed and the quarantine is over. If you need more help, my 360 messenger is now working.  : )
