  1. Vicious mutated koalas that will rip your head off. ^__^ You can avoid the claws and gnashing of teeth by spreading a generous dollop of Vegemite behind your ears. This works everytime, it is like Aeroguard for dropbears.

  2. You need to jab the bear before it gets you!  They don't check residency applications, so you should be fine.

  3. nasty bears that don't like foreigners

they can sell one from 10 miles away

  4. They are very very nasty. They drop from trees unto unsuspecting victims and tear arms off and rip of huge slabs of flesh off to eat while their victim still lives.

Growing as tall as 5 feet and having huge claws there is nothing a victim can do to save themselves. Some have managed to escape and taken refuge in their motor car but the drop bear can break car windows with ease.

So if in Australia NEVER stand under a tree!

  5. You will mostly run into drop bears in the forests.  Like other posters have said they are big vicious creatures with huge claws.  Sort of like a rabid Koala bear.  If you venture into a forest make sure you have the vegemite handy and what ever you do keep looking up you need to see them first to survive.

  6. I hear they are particularly fond of eating the "British Blue" breed of cat.  Specially when spread with Vegemite.

These ravenous beasts have almost wiped out the bunyip and the yowie.
