a licensed preschool with proper staff/child ratios - clean and lots of interactive toysl  Visit all the preschools you are interested in and pick the one that is best for YOUR child.

It depends on what socio-culture you are sorrounded with .. you can make your child genious, loving, talent etc etc .. even if you do not enroll your child to any pre-school.

I feel that Parents are the best school for a baby till 5 yrs. but it depends on what circumfarance you are living in. If the children of your neighbour are enrolled to pre-school and your baby has the evidence then it can create some bad feeling to your child as well.

All is to justify yourself that what is your living culture and what sort of impact that can create to your child.

What are your goals? Socialization? academics? free play? structure? Go visit several and you will geet a better feel for what fits your goals. See what "feels" right for your kid's personality too!

There's nothing that is BEST.  It depends on each child.  My children are in elementary school and one teacher who is wonderful for my son may not be the "best" for my daughter.  Find a place that's within your community that has a good reputation.  Visit the site to see how the children behave and what type of work they are doing.  You'll start to know what feels most comfortable for you.  At age of three, the most important aspect of pre-school is going to be socializing.
