Can you tell me what the name of this plant is?

I just inherited it today, but I have no idea what it is/how to take care of it. See pic links below:

It looks like some sort of really odd cactus, but then again the leaves look like that of a bamboo plant. Maybe it's a hybrid....

we had like that and we name it the odd one even though it is not that weird for a cactus to have leaves our cactus grows flowers it has a pinkish color.

It's a Euphorbia, possibly Euphorbia brunelli.  Here's a pic.
