Can you tell me what this dream meant?

Question

Basically we were at a friends house or lived in a different house and I had to use my husband pocket knife some reason and cut the tip of my thumb or thought it was just the tip, well by the time I got back from where ever I was going (back to the house) it started to bleed from the tip so I got a napkins and applied pressure (it wasn’t bleeding alot just a bit) and so I got out of the truck (I was driving a truck, we dont even own a truck) I took the napkin off and my thumb was cut completely in half and barely holding on with a piece of skin. You couldn’t see the bone and it was no longer bleeding and no pain at all. So I told the friend that was there I think I should go to the hospital and everyone that was there looked at it and everyone said but my husband told me I didn’t have to go to the hospital that it would grow back together. So I didn’t go and it still didn’t cause me pain we even threw my 3 yr old birthday party at a bowling alley
