Can you tell me why circuit city <the source> and there people lie so mush?

Well here we go.I bought a stereo it needit to be fixed. they told me it well take 1 to 3 weeks, then they told me it well take 4 to 6 week, so they told me 120 days. lie, lie, lie and more lies. so you tell me.

You are totally right about service people but it&#039;s the same at all the big box stores because the volume of business allows them to s***w whomever they choose and not worry about it.

Of course your mistake is to allow a service department to take your item without a firm return date in writing. If you had secured that, you tell them to replace it with equal or better value product or the lawyers will clean them out and the BBB will be closing them down.

Don&#039;t ever take anything for granted; never accept anything not in writing; always stand up for your rights.

I work in a place that repairs tools, lamps and vacuums and we have had some parts take upwards of 3 to 4 months to get parts (but that is on an old power tool that hasn&#039;t been made for years)

How long ago did you buy it?  I would ask for a replacement unit if it was a recent purchase and they can sell it as reconditioned.  If they care about their customers and their image, they should offer to exchange the unit for you after that long.
