i have sprint broadband compass 597 why wont internet explorer work on my lap top

  1. There are several reasons why your broadband may not be working.  It could be your physical hardware, Internet Explorer, or your ISP (sprint).

    For setting up physical hardware (modems, routers, etc), follow instructions included with the package, then visit the sprint website, or maybe even give sprint a call.  (NB: Most laptops require a PC card or a modem cable - have you got these?)

    To set up a connection in IE, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections. From there, setup, or add a connection, or if it's wireless, go to the LAN settings.  They will guide you through.  

    If Sprint is not working at their end, it's not your fault - call them or wait and they'll fix it in a few days.
