Can you tell the truth being drunk?

Me and my other half work together, and when he was drunk he told me that a woman from work asked him out.

Then I told him I didn’t believe it… and then he said its true, she did, and she told me to leave you (me).

Then in the following day and he was sober (not drunk) I asked him about that, and then he said: are you crazy? She is happily married.. she never asked me out.

So my question is: can you tell the truth when you are drunk?

Once his mum told me that she gets him drunk to get information from him. Lol

  3. Hi Ella,

yes, I think that when people are drunk they speak the truth. A wise person once said, " a drunken man never tells tales." This means when a person is drunk they are acting on their true feelings, the only difference is that when they are drunk they don't care for the consequences their actions may bring like like would when their sober.

    Just my opinion.
