Can you tell us more about what you think causes people to be resistant to looking honestly at changing their belief systems? Also, what exactly makes up a "belief system" in the first place?

  1. The belief system of a human is the sum of all what he has learned and experimented, one way or another in his life, filtered with his personality, being thought and discussed about.

The belief system is the base of all our intrigues, decisions, actions and conversations, because it is by that system that we think doing the right things, and depending on what contains your belief system, you will do good things around you and to yourself, or you will sow terror, or you will do nothing interesting.

Needless to say that it is the belief system who makes it possible for humans to live together (or not) in a given space: a family, a community, a country or a planet.

lack of faith and lack of intrest ("not bothered") causes people to be resistant to looking honestly at changing their belief system
