If they quantify the tests and your way above the level that would indicate bagel eating, then you are in deep sh#!.

oh yea, almost lost a job over poppy seed muffin, i ate the day before, this was a radom drug testing job.   i had a awful time trying to convince them i did no drugs and to let me take another test.

Yes.  This was featured on an episode of "Myth Busters."  However, the current standard for a "positive" test is 2000ng/mL, which would be difficult to achieve with normal consumption of poppy seeds.  The previous test cutoff (still used in some labs) of 300ng/mL is relatively easily achieved with poppy seeds in food.
