Can you text on a cruise to alaska?(sprint service)?

You may get some service on land but I doubt you are going to get any what so ever on the water. You would have to be really close to a cell tower in order to get somewhat decent service and most of the time you are going to be on roaming so I wouldnt waste your time or money trying to text. I think that most people can deal without their cell phones for at least a few days.

why text.  its better to enjoy yourself and keep away from the outside world for a week or so when your on a cruise.

i have sprint and isometimes  have trouble getting service in downtown phoenix. you could go to sprint.com amd ask a customer service rep. your question. they are pretty fast at responding, but they may not be able to give you valid answer. my motto has become "with sprint all things are impossible"
