Can you text to/from different countires?

like i have this friend who lives in Ireland, and i wanna text but i donno if like you auctually can, anyone know?

I text people in a few different countries.  Costs a lot more than a normal text thought - it's 25c (euro cent) per message with my provider here in Ireland, and there's no way of getting cheaper texts, you can't use a phone card like you could for calls.

Yes you can provided your service provider allows it....some will allow to send a certain amount of free SMS everyday..others will charge you for everyone you send

So check with your service provider..
