Can you think of a fictional story?

I have to write a this thing called a porqua, its basically an fictional explanation for why something is the way it is, can anyone think of one I can write about. The example our teacher gave us was the thunder and lightening occurs when the gods and angels are playing bowling in the sky and the rolling of the bowling ball is the rolling of the thunder, and the hitting of the pins is the loud sound and the lightning.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! 10 points for the lucky aanswerer!!!!

just pick something off the wall and ordinary...and then think about it like you were the class clown trying to explane why he threw that wad of paper at the teacher.  You'll get your answer

Oh! We had to do this for an Art project!

Men go into battle and the women back at home cried for them and that's how the (insert ocean here) Ocean became to be.
