I'm doing a langauge investigation for A level and i'm comparing a news article aimed at children and one at adults on the same topic, i can't think of any stories that i could research articles from

  1. Try your local library archive for all the newspapers you can read.


  2. Volunteerism. No one is ever too young to benefit from helping people or animals in need. A young girl in Seattle named Megan Johnson began making fleece blankets to distribute to the homeless in downtown Seattle with her family. Now, as a 9th grader, she heads her own non-profit organization.

    Very heartwarming story. I was unable to find the original news article, but there are lots of other articles about her.

  3. The dangers of going online - I had to sit my kids down and discuss this with them.

    If you go on the BBC news website, you'll often find the equivalent story in 'kids' form on Newsround.
