  1. Yes. But I can't think of a single legitimate argument for illegal immigration.

    Supporting illegal immigration is immoral. Illegal immigration supporters are supporting the root causes of the poverty that caused the migration in the first place: greed and corruption. And it threatens to put all nations in the same predicament.

  3. • To make US consumer products more price competitive with imports, by ensuring an ample supply of affordable labor.

    • To strengthen US intellectual capital by bringing highly trained scientists, engineers, and other specialists to work here. I'd rather not have the Koreans (not to pick on them, I mean any foreign country) own the technology for the next generation of technologies for fuel efficiency, computer processing, telecommunications, etc.

    • To bestow the blessings of liberty and freedom on those who otherwise would not have them.

    Edited to add: And I agree that illegal immigration should be prevented and/or penalized.

  4. No, we are already too crowded and are running out of resources.
