Just like robbing a bank in the days of Jesse James illegal immigrants are convincing people that they are heroes not criminals.  

They can ruin my country and I can't stop them.

They are great, hard-working people who are just trying to fight for a chance to make more money like the Americans do. We should be a little more understanding of where they have come from. Us Americans have not experienced their lives and don't understand what motivates them to come here. Compare making $1/hour to $10/hour and then think of what you would want to do. Would you stay living in poverty forever, or fight for a chance at a better life? Getting a visa to come here is not as easy as it sounds.. especially if you have no money (which obviously they don't). If they pay taxes here, don't use welfare and don't have a criminal record, what's the problem?

Don't group them all into one pot because some are amazing hardworking people who deserve to be here and some are awful criminals who don't but just put yourself in their place and stop putting them down. I don't think anybody who answered this would wait 3 to 10 years for their papers either.  They have families to take care of to.It's not their fault that they are born in a poor country. I've read all the books. I am getting my fiance legal. And it is so not a walk in the park. Without a lawyer and lot s and lots of money it can take you 10 years just to get an interview with the U.S. Embassy.  If you don't have anything nice to say, HOW ABOUT SHUTTING UP!!!!!  God will punish you for your unkind words and actions.

Illegals are not immigrants. Look up the word immigrant in the dictionary. There is nothing there that describes sneaking across a border without a visa.

Sure.

They come here to make a better life for themselves. They work hard. And mostly obey the law.

And they are a lot more decent and honest than the bigots who keep whining about "illegal immiggrants--while at the same time blocking every attempt to fix the ssystem.

70-80% of the American people favor amnesty and a guest worker program--because they know these are just the newest wave of immigrants to America.  They are a boost to our economy.

The only trouble there is is being caused by some right-wing bigots and crackpot groups like the "Minutemen."  Once we get these white trash out of the way we can fix the immigration system and the problem that isn't a problem will be solved.

Oh--and I like the immigrants a whole lot better than I do the so-called "good Americans" on the right wing.  At least the immigrants take care of their families and don't try to run everyone else's lives.

Illegal aliens?  I felt some should be felt sorry for.  But as you watch the Hispanic Leaders listen to Obama, what Obama said to them was not enough.  They want amnesty for the illegal aliens, they are ignoring the law, and they are breaking the law.  I am beginning to feel the representatives of the illegal aliens have abandoned the country and all that it is.  I am beginning to believe they are going to have their way no matter what and we could see a civil war developing.
