  1. That depends on the dealer's rules and requirements.

    Most dealers will take it, just don't expect to get much for it.

    If the car is not running, I suggest you see how much you can get for it at a scrap yard or by selling it yourself before you trade it in. That way, you are more likely to get more money.

    The stealers, I mean..Car DEALERS just fudge the numbers around so that it looks like you are getting a good deal, running or not. You end up paying more anyway.

  3. Sure.  Haven't you seen the commercials?  "We trade for anything, drive it, push it, tow it and your trade is worth $x*x off the price..."

  4. Just make them discount the car.  If they say no go home.  They will call.  Donate your old car to the Salvation Army.
