  1. You're better off having a litter box.. That's what cats prefer.

You might be able to train her to use a wee-wee pad but.. that might not end well. She'll probably hate it and go to the bathroom where ever she pleases.

Get over your litter box fear and get one. Don't be so selfish and think more about your cat than yourself!

  2. Hrm... Why don't you want a litter box?  It's probably possible, but the problem I see is cats have a natural tendency to want to dig to go to the bathroom.  Which is why litter boxes work so well, it's the only logical place in the house because they can dig in it.  Is it the smell that bothers you? The litter mess? Looks?  There is this fancy-shmancy litter box you may want to look into...

It cleans itself, re-uses the litter so you don't have to get more, etc. etc... Look into it, if you're willing to try it.  ^.^

  3. Perhaps, but a "pee pad" will not allow your cat to "scratch and dig" and that's an important part of "potty training" for a kitten.  Cats prefer to dig a suitable hole, use it and then cover it completely.  Observe how an outdoor cat behaves and I think you will find that a "pee pad" does not mimic the outside as well as a litter box.

A kitten/cat who is unhappy with his "bathroom" arrangement will likely make his own........your rug, your bed, your clothing, etc.

    Good Luck!

  4. try appartment litter cuz all it is is bits of cardboard and newspaper. it works very well.
