  1. Of course you can, people just don't magically sink into them one day. It takes constant stretching.

For middle, I would just say practice. Push yourself, and make sure that you're one you're elbows (otherwise you're cheating).  Do them daily and hold for 30 seconds to a minute.

For side splits, work a couple stretches. Put one foot forward and one behind, making sure the knee of the front foot is lined up with the foot (not over) making a ninety degree angle. Put your hips forward (but don't slouch, straight back) so that your back leg is as far down as possible, but keep that right angle in the front leg. Hold this. (you should feel a stretch along your back thigh) From there make your front leg straight and put your nose to your knee. After holding that there's nothing to do but slide down and hold. Make sure your back knee is to the ground (not the side) and your toes are pointed, then lean down and put your nose to your knee.

Finally, once you get them, you're not done. Keep stretching, or you'll loose them quickly (especially the middle).

That's really all I can recommend, hope it helps.

  2. You just have to keep practicing and keep stretching

  3. Yes yes yes! absolutly =]]

if you get a pillow or anything that is a raised surface and put your front foot onto it! slowly sink down into the splits once you get that then you can go on the floor and you will be down completly good luck and it takes more then one day to get them so keep trying
