Nope. The "lifetime" referred to is the lifetime of the TiVo box - not the owner.

Of course, it is entirely possible that TiVo could have a promotion and allow a transfer, but they've never done that before.

The life time subscription can transfer over if you sell your TiVo to another person.  The TiVo will transfer from own to owner, not from TiVo to TiVo.
