Can you transfer any type of video to your PSP with The PSP Media Manager?

What I mean by "Any Type Of Video" is that can you transfer "Windows Media" videos/files to your PSP? The reason why i'm asking this is becasue i tried doing this w/o the media manager and it did'nt work.
