  1. No No No did I hear A NO. ok yes but it would probably cost more than buying a s2000 so just buy the s2000. the issue is the motor is mounted to a front trans axle like a front drive car then the transfer drives the back wheels. its not like a Chevy pickup that you could remove the transfer case and get a little longer drive shaft and you have a 2 wheel drive.

you would have to make the whole drive train customer and most of the suspension

  2. i can't see anymore!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I have no idea why you would want to (kind of defeats the purpose of buying a subaru), but to each their own. Yes it is possible.

Here's a link to a center diff sleeve to get you started

  4. It would cost you alot more money than you would save in gas, to do it properly

  5. I have a 93 Legacy, which has a fuse that can be inserted to make it FWD for towing, etc...  The rear differential began to bind, so we run it in FWD all the time, and haven't had any problems.  Your vehicle may have something like this.  It would be listed in the manual under the towing instructions if it does.  I believe they have done away with this in recent models, so it probably depends on what year your vehicle is.

  6. it would really be pointless, and you would end up paying alot more to do the coversion than you you ever save on gas. if you dont want the 4 wheel drive subabru sell it and go buy a mustang.

  7. Why would you want to??

  8. I think my ears are bleeding

  9. NO you can't.  The car is front wheel drive with the rear diff which makes it AWD.  If you where to disconnect the relay/fuses it would make it FWD.  But this could cause problems.
