Can you translate this to Turkish please?

I am getting a haircut in two days, and I want to explain to the hairdresser what I want.

"I want a side-parting from the right. Cut the hair that come in front into layered bangs. I want the rest of the hair trimmed to take care of split ends and cut into many layers."

If you can translate this into everyday Turkish, I will be very grateful.

çok teşekkürler!

  1. I'm sorry, I can't translate what you want.

I just wanted to register the fact that Babelfish does NOT translate either from or to Turkish so, please, can people stop recommending it here!

I'm sorry I hijacked your question. I wish my Turkish was better, I hope someone can provide what you need.

PS "bangs" is an Americanism which in British English is "fringe". I hope this helps the Turkish speakers who can translate what you need.

  2. Yanları kazı üstler kalsın.Üstte kalanları maviye boyayıp uçlarına yeşil boncuklar takın lütfen.

  3. Try translating it on this site

    http://babelfish.yahoo.com/

  4. For something like this it is always better to show a picture and be expressive with your hands.  I have a hard time even explaining to American hairdressers what I want in English, not because my English is deficient but just because it's so easy to misunderstand these kinds of things and always some ambiguity remains.

Nevertheless, here goes an attempt from me:

"Sag tarafa dogru yan-ayirim istiyorum.  Lutfen, one dogru gelen saclari da katli bir kâkul yap.  Geriye kalan saclarin kirik uclari duzelsin diye de bicimli bir sekilde uclarini kesersen, ve o saclari genel olarak da kat kat kesersen memnun olurum."

(I added a little bit of politeness too.)

Anyone feel free to correct me.  And, obviously I am missing most Turkish characters, so feel free to insert them where needed (though I think that the gist is understood anyway).

Hope your haircut goes well!  I need to do something with my hair too, but you are lucky to have a Turkish hairstylist.

  5. "Ben haktan bir side-parting isterim. Saçı kes o gelir bak gürültüler tabakaladı. Ben isterim almak için yontulan saç dinlenmesi hoşlanır sonlar yar ve katlar birçoğunun içine kes."
