Of course you can.

If it's a really looong tunnel, it might have a warning at the entrance, but I've never seen that.

I've never seen the issue addressed.

Also, never transport a cooking gas bottle in the passenger compartment or cabin.

According to the department of transportation you can do this, there are no laws that prohibit you at all, unless you are transporting 100 of these at one time.....

Yes, you can. Some hazmat materials can be transported through tunnels as long as they don't go over a specific amount. I hauled hazmat through tunnels because it was under the limited quantity amount.
