Can you travel on a megabus with just the booking/ref code or do you need to show the confirmation email/text?

I'm looking to book a megabus for early tommorow morning however my phone has died and have no printer. Does anyone know if i can just show the code to the driver if i write it down or will i need the text/email print off? Please answer if you know! would be greatly appreciated and will give stars.

So long as you have the booking reference to show the driver it doesn't matter whether it is a printout of the confirmation or just written down.
