  1. Yes, they are part of the United States.    If you have a visa or are from a visa waiver  program country, you may travel anywhere within the U.S. while  your immigration application is being processed.  You do need to apply FROM your own country and have your interiew there.


  2. Yes you can but you need to have a passport. Because you are not consider a US Citizen yet. Passports are not required for US CITIZENS. This is very important to understand.

    I have seen many questions like this before and everyone assumes that since you are coming from the US, you don't need a passport. That is not true. You have to be a US Citizen in order for a passport not to be required.

    I am assuming that since you are not a citizen (yet) that you have a passport from somewhere else. Just make sure to bring that.

  3. USVI and Puerto Rico are considered "Domestic flights" and all you need is valid ID such as a Drivers License to fly to those destinations.

    So there shouldnt be an issue.
