  1. There is absolutely no contraceptive that is 100% sure to protect pregnancy and pills are no exception. Actually, pills are statistically less reliable than condoms. Pills + condoms will definitely reduce chances of pregnancy more than just pill.

  2. If you actually look at the packaging of birth control it even states that it is only a certain percentage effective. Nothing is a guarantee except abstinance.

  3. for the most part they work but not always. my sister in law is pregnant with her second child in 2 years and the has been on birth control for as long as i can remember. i am on birth control and ive also been preg twice. you have to be very consistant and never miss or be late when taking it. i would use another form of birth control like condoms or dont have s*x if youre not ready to deal with that resposibility.

  4. Yes. My girlfriend was on the pill, and i continued to have intercourse with her without protection, and now shes 5 months into our first pregnancy haha. So yes you should be careful. That  doesnt mean its going to happen to you. I think the % was like 99.9% sure that you wont get pregnant. I don know, maybe my girl is weird.

  5. I got pregnant on birth control with all #3 of my kids. [2 pregnancies]

and we used a condom the first time as well.

Its unlikely, nothing is 100% effective

    just do everything you can

and if it does happen it must be meant to be.

    Good luck xx

  6. Birth control is 99.9% of preventing pregnancy. It is a goo dthing that you are not over confident because even if you are on the pills you can still get pregnant. my sister was on the pills and she was also very responsible but she found out she was pregnant and she unlike you was so confident that it was 100% prevention to pregnancy . boy was she wrong but you cant trust birth control too much.

  7. birth control pills can and often do increase your blood pressure and can lead to heart attack and stroke and also sometimes anurism also if i were you i would make the guy use a condom just in case

  8. The pill can't protect you from pregnancy 100% of the time no matter what.

  9. I took the pill every single day and now my daughter is 7 months old! that was a suprise! My friend also got pregnant with both of her kids while taking the pill! so just be careful and expect anything!

  10. The only birth control that is 100% effective is not having s*x. Even vasectomies and having your tubes tied can fail (rare but it can happen). Well I guess having a hysterectomy is 100%, but I really wouldn't recommend that.

If you have s*x, you have to take responsibility for what might happen. In life there are always consequences for any given action. Talk to your partner and make sure you both are in agreement in case of pregnancy.
