  1. It should not harm your computer to try different anti-virus programs, however, only install one at a time though or you may end up blocking yourself from the internet!

  2. You can install them but after unintsalling make sure u delete da folders left behind in program files and whereever u save it wen installing. but overall try not to because it may add hardware and leave it behind and u may bot b able 2 remove it

  3. you can try many Free Anti-Virus but be care full some of them is the will bring to you Virus or Spy ware if you want Uninstall used Revo Uninstall to remove by  safe Downolad here Revo http://www.revouninstaller.com/

Revo Uninstaller helps you to uninstall and remove unwanted programs installed on your computer even if you have problems uninstalling and cannot uninstall them from "Windows Add or Remove Programs" control panel applet.

Revo Uninstaller is a much faster and more powerful alternative to "Windows Add or Remove Programs" applet!

With its advanced and fast algorithm, Revo Uninstaller analyzes an application's data before uninstall and scans after you uninstall an application. After the program's regular uninstaller runs, you can remove additional unnecessary files, folders and registry keys that are usually left over on your computer. Even if you have a broken installation, Revo Uninstaller scans for an application's data on your hard disk drives and in the Windows registry and shows all found files, folders and registry keys so you can delete them.

With its unique "Hunter mode", Revo Uninstaller offers you some simple, easy to use, but effective and powerful approaches to manage (uninstall, stop, delete, disable from auto starting) and to get information about your installed and/or running programs.

  4. It doesn't hurt. As long as the antivirus program you're downloading isn't actually secretly spyware. Then that can cause a problem. Here. I'll save you some trouble. For Vista computers: http://free.avg.com

For XP and below: http://www.freebyte.com/antivirus/ <------ That's a list of some good A.V's that aren't actually spyware.

  5. You can try as many has you want.  Just make sure that you only have one installed and test scan.  Then remove as you will have serious conflict if you have two antivirus program installed in your system.

Also make sure that you go to your tray, open start, search and type in the name of the antivirus and let your PC search for all related files and delete from the bottom up.  Then go to your tray, open start, run and type in: c://program files, double click on browse, open program files and look for the name of the antivirus and delete.  You don´t want files or fragments left in your system because this will also cause conflict with a new antivirus.

You can have three, four or even five antispyware program running if you have the resources without conflict.   Myself I  use four as one will always find what the others miss.

Don´t try Nortons, because you will not be able to remove even with their removal tool.  You are left with over 375 fragments of Norotns and their parent company glued to the registry, files, folders and sub folders and is a nightmare to remove.
