What would be the best setup to attach a rope to a boat that is tiller steered? I'm wanting to pull a tube. Anyone?

  1. attach a short rope (1.5 times the width of the boat) to the aftmost port and starboard corners of the boat, so it has plenty of clearance to get around the tiller (so it doesn't interfere with the tiller operation) and attach the tow rope to the center of that.

  2. No problem. Attach a yoke to both sides of the transom. It should not interfere with the rudder or tiller.
