Can you tube in florida on a jet ski iwth 2 poeple or do i need 3?

i am going tubing and i only have 2 people in a lake in fl. is it alright if i have someone in the tube if i am driving. or is it the law that i need someone on the back of the seat looking backwards? please let me know if it is legal or not. thanks

No it s not a law to have someone on the back of the jet ski to watch the tuber, but its kinda hard to watch where your driving and watch the person on the tube in case they fall off.

I had this same question.  Here is what I found out.

You must have either a 2nd person on the jet ski to spot or a large angle rear view mirror.  They don't really say the definition of the size of the mirror.

The law states that there must be one person operating the jetski and one person as spotter for the person in the water, if you dont have two people on the jet ski you might get a ticket, also you cant have more than 2 people on the jetski incase somethign happens(injury) to the person in the water there must be extra space on the jetski.
