Can you turn the wii's blue neon light on?

i know it comes on when u get a msg and stuff but is it possible to turn it on yourself?

Nope, unfortunately you cannot. You can turn it off, turn it down, or turn it up, but only when you get a message.

It is a shame because it looks neat with the light on.
