  1. Slowly waking from my sleep

Eyes fight to open and peek

    Snuggled warmly in my quilt

Staying still I fight the guilt

    Hearing ringing bells from inside

Turn off the alarm clock out loud I cried.

    Waking up and stretching high

Pulling the quilt down my side

Cursing quietly I open my eyes wide

A thought penetrates my brain inside

    Morning bells are ringing

The alarm clock has a dinging

The dinging sound is now clear

Registers in my mind a fear

My hearing now detects the ringing

    Yes morning bells are ringing

But it is the fire alarm I am hearing

    overshadowed by my screaming.

  2. this is one of the song of FRERE JACQUES...its below:---

A literal translation of the French lyrics is:

    Brother Jacob, Brother Jacob

Are you sleeping? Are you sleeping?

Ring the morning bells! Ring the morning bells!

Ding, dang, dong. Ding, dang, dong.

However the most common English version in use is modified as follows:

Are you sleeping, Are you sleeping,

    Brother John? Brother John?

Morning bells are ringing, Morning bells are ringing.

Ding, dang, dong. Ding, dang, dong.
