Can you understand accents?

I met this really cute guy today because all my friends had to get situation (new school year) so I was all alone. I just decided to sit down next to anyone, and mainly because this guy was HOT!

But He as a stong accent and I really like him but I don't know if I will ever be able to understand him. What can I do?

Just ask him to slow down when he is talking. Tell him that you can't understand what he says sometimes. He will understand. I had a friend I used to have to do that to. I can understand now. You'll get used to the accent over time.
