Can you upgrade low ofw to high cfw on psp?

ok on psp phat if i had fw 3.92, could it just be upgraded to cfw 4.00m33? if not, how would i go about downgrading to cfw 1.50, got a link on how to make a pandora battery without the use of a magic memory card?

No you can't go straight from your firmware to a custom firmware, you have to downgrad firstly. You will need a pandoras battery for this and really there is no magic memory stick, its just a normal memory stick that contains the files needed for the battery to perform a custom firmware install.
