Can you upload a TiVo recording to the internet?

I have a TiVo Series 2. I recoreded something that I would like to upload to the internet. I tryed to put it in my Window's movie maker to edit it and it said that it could not upload it. Is there another way?

You need to change the .tivo file into an .mpeg. DirectShowDump is a little program that does that for you, you can download it here http://www.prish.com/etivo/downloads/DSD...

or google 'directshowdump' and read about it...run it and open the .tivo file with it and it will convert it into a .mpg file that will appear in the same directory as your Tivo recording.

After you convert it you can use Divx to encode it into a much smaller file...google is your friend
