Can you use Margarita mix instead of tom Collins for a Wapatula?

and if so, is it better or worse than leaving it alone? I dont know, I dont drink that often. Thanks

Tom Colins is this:

2 oz gin

1 oz lemon juice

1 tsp superfine sugar

3 oz club soda

1 maraschino cherry

1 slice orange

Margarita Mix is this:

4 oz tequila

4 oz FRESH lime juice

2 Orange Liqueur

1/2 oz Grand Marnier and a little splash of OJ

So you see, they are different but both acidic. I would try myself. Just make a small glass to taste.
