Can you use Optus pre-paid if you're travelling to New Zealand?

  1. Although Optus operates in New Zealand you can't use an Australian Optus Prepaid Sim in New Zealand. You'll have to buy a prepaid sim there. If you were on a plan, you have the option of international roaming but it's not available on Prepaid.


  2. I'm really not sure, I imagine you could. You may need to ask someone about international roaming... usually companies (like Optus) would have an agreement with a Telco in other countries allowing Optus customers access to their network there. You can call Optus Customer Service on 1300 555 002.
