Question:

Can you use Panasonic SA HT730 speakers without the DVD player?

My girlfriend and her family own a Panasonic SA HT730 home theatre system. It seems that the DVD player part has stopped receiving power although the subwoofer still gets power and all the speakers worked before the DVD player stopped working. It seems to me that everything gets routed through the subwoofer to the DVD player into the TV. I don't know the first thing about home theatre or surround sound so I'm not sure how I would go about using speakers with other devices. Unfortunately the manual says nothing. Thank you for your time.

  1. Well you can use the speakers separate from the DVD player, and if the DVD player has some stereo audio input jacks, you can possibly route your TV's Audio output to it.....

But if your DVD player doesn't have any RCA Audio inputs on the back, then there is no way to use it with your TV set....

So, you see any AUX IN jacks on the back of the player at all?
