Can you use Sigg Bottles as a thermos?

sigg bottles make thermo bottles, but they're not the same as the regular water bottles.  Their thermo bottles are very good quality, though.  I bought some for my parents, and my parents say they're the best ones they've ever owned.

They also make a hot and cool bottle that is shaped like the regular bottle, but is made of stainless.  It keeps cool for 4 hours and hot for 2 hours.  Here's a link to that one:

As Mimi said, Sigg also make thermoses, however the regular Sigg bottle doesn't work well as a thermos.  Because it is aluminum and has no insulation they transmit heat very easily.  So hot fluids cool quickly and the bottle will be hot to the touch.  The reverse is true for cool liquids.
