Can you use Twin XL sheets on a regular Twin bed?

Hi, A twin size which is 39"x75" and an extra long twin is 39"x80". The twin extra long sheets will fit on the twin and the fitted sheet will be a little loose but the excess can be tucked in. Hope this helps.

You can, you'll just need to tuck the extra fabric under the mattress.

XL sheets are a few inches longer.  If they are top sheets then no problem.  

If they are bottom sheets then they will bunch up under you while you sleep causing discomfort.  You can get sheet clips that will secure the sheet to the trim cord that surrounds standard mattresses if that's the case.  Another method is sheet 'garters' that will cinch up the corners to keep it tight.
