  1. NO!  NEVER EVER use a different plug for a device than what came with it, especially if they have different voltages. The battery could potentially explode, burn up, catch on fire, etc. DO NOT do this. VERY dangerous.

    Unless you have a voltmeter and a graduated ballast resistor.  Then you can calibrate the output down to 26 volts and you're in business.

    But don't use it 'as is'.
