  1. Yes Ofcourse but you cant watch the cd but you can listen to it!

  2. depends what u r playing it on.

most stand alone players will play vcd or svcd.

alternately re-encoding to xvid or divx if the player is divx compatible will achieve the same thing.

So, you can fit video playable on a stand alone player onto a cd, but you have to convert it, and the player has to be compatible with the format you convert it to.

  3. Definitely not because a DVD is 3.2 giga bytes and above while a CD is only 700 megga bytes......But you can still use a CD for you to save movies....

  4. depends dvd are used for movies or when u have a large file bigger than 700 mgs. but yes u can as long the file 700 mgs. or smaller

  5. Video-CDs are possible, but video quality will be lower and the length of video that can be stored is much less due to the lower data density when compared to a DVD (700MB / ~4200MB). This technology is more popular in Asia.

  6. Absolutely yes...you can do that...the only thing is you can only do that for movies...for data files...NOPE....because it doesn't have the same amount of memory as a dvd....

if you want it for movies....do to do so...

Just simply burn the file to the cd as a bootable disk....just pop it in the dvd player and you're ready to go.....

  7. Well I'm just going to take a guess in thinking you mean can you play a CD in a DVD player or something...and yeah you can.  ll you do is put it in have the remote to go down the track nd click play for the song.

  8. please explain more...u can
