If yes, then how?

  1. Youre a ghost hunter?!?!?!?!

  2. According to the company's website, that model can be used to detect electromagnetic fields.  It was not designed for ghost hunting, but I suppose you could use it while you are doing that.  I don't understand what you would use it for though.  Ghosts are visual apparitions aren't they?  I know of nothing that indicates they are in any way electromagnetic, so why would you use a meter that detects electromagnetic fields?

  3. Ghosts do not exist.  Please don't try to drag technology into the superstitious mess.

If you want to have fun with electronics on your Halloween ghost walk, or something like that, you could rig up a magnetometer with a voltmeter and a function generator to make noises.  Then you could hide small magnets around, and let the magnetometer pick up the magnets' fields and go "wooooOOOOP!" and scare all the kids.  Shout, "Hey, it's coming from that tree!" and stuff like that.

We used to have fun doing that, and any science teacher, high school and above, or a good college physics student, should be able to set you up for this.

But you cannot detect ghosts electronically, because they don't exist.

  4. The fluke meter is a good meter but I can't think of any way to use it to hunt a ghost.  Check out this link for ghost hunting gear.-----

  5. i just wanted to say....GHOSTS DO EXIST....go nuff said you tell them.....good one...

  6. 1- ghosts don't exist

2- if they did, what say you they are electrical in nature?

3- if they were, how would anyone know what to measure? Resistance? Electrical potential? Current intensity? Where do you hook the thing? Multimeter need to make contact with whatever they are to measure, they need a complete circuit.

4- RMS stands for Root Mean Square, this means the multimeter is capable of providing good readings for alternating current as well as DC. Where did you get the notion that ghosts use alternating current?

If you want to hunt ghost, the best tool is a critical sense. Admitting they don't exist is also a good approach.

  7. I think your referring to a remote monitoring system? RMS  I suppose you could. I cant afford equipment  like a remote monitor system, not to mention tracking it all over creation.

And for those of you who say ghosts dont exist, show me scientific proof they dont exist! we have gone over this before but again, I cant scientifically prove they do exist, but you cant scientifically prove they dont.  And if you do have scientific proof they dont exist, put the proof up here for us all to see, otherwise go to another site or be civil and understand that just because you dont believe, others do and you should respect that..

EDIT: Which are you actually referring to A multi meter or a remote system?

EDIT: the fluke multi meter is not something I would be using. There are great EMFs available for what you want to do for 35 to 65 dollars.
