Can you use a UK charger for a Nintendo DS bought in the USA?

I'm thinking of getting a DS from the States as it's cheaper but of course their mains power is different. I have a UK charger at home but I don't know whether I can just plug that in to the DS bought in the US. Please only answer if you know for sure.

  1. Yes, I have a friend in California who sent me DS for my son and I just used a charger from here :-)

Or you can buy an adaptor for about £5. But UK charger worked for me.

  2. I would think so.

  3. keep the uk charger and buy uk battery.

Although thinking about it you should be ok with that.
