Can you use a United Stated drivers license in Honduras?

I'm going there in 2 days, I have a rental car reserved but I can't find any information regarding licensure. Does anyone know if you can use a US license or do you have to have an international drivers license?

I am a citizen of the U.S. living in Honduras and if the law hasn't changed in the last couple of months your U.S. license is good for ninety days before you have to obtain a Honduran permiso.

Yes. For a month normaly. After that you'd need to get a local licence.
